visit owners websiteMEADOW BANK in the village of Elterwater in the Langdale Valley not far from Ambleside, is a luxury, detached Lakeland house sleeping 10 plus cot. It is comfortably furnished and has 4 Star rating with VisitBritain. There is a large lounge/dining room plus an additional small sitting room where there are two single beds (one pulls out from underneath the other) as well as another TV in addition to the one in the main lounge. There are 4 bedrooms, one with 5ft double bed and ensuite shower room, another with 5ft double bed and two twin bedded rooms. There are 2 bathrooms, one with separate shower and separate bath, and the other with hand shower over the bath. Bedding (duvets) is provided for the beds but guests using the cot need to bring their own bedding for this. There is a traditional style pine kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, fridge/freezer, electric hobs and double oven. There is also a large drying cabinet which is most useful.
Meadow Bank is set in well-landscaped gardens with good views towards the Langdale Beck and the fells. A barbecue and outdoor table and chairs are provided. There is parking for 2 cars.
Membership of the Langdale Leisure Club with pool is included, except between 4.00 - 6.30 pm.
