The holiday cottages at Greenwell offer AA 3 star accommodation near Wolsingham, Weardale, Co. Durham overlooking the hills of the North Pennines.

Accommodating up to 23+2 people in three cottages sleeping 4, 6 and 13. Located on a working farm 2 miles from the village of Wolsingham. All bedrooms ensuite. Each cottage can be let individualy or as a group. Ideal for family celebations or larger groups.

The Barn Cottage sleeps 13. It has one triple (king + single) room, two twin and three double rooms all en-suite. Two lounge and kitchen areas, the largest on the ground floor is most unusual being circular and 22 ft in diameter ideal for large groups to socialise/dine together.

The Byre cottage sleeps 4. It has a double bedroom, bathroom, kitchen/lounge on the ground floor. An additional two single beds are located on a mezzanine balcony above the lounge area.

The Stables cottage sleeps 6. It has two en-suite bedrooms, one double four poster and a family room on the ground floor with an open plan kitchen and lounge on the first floor. Greenwell offers the chance to see a real farm; to follow our nature trail and feed the chickens. Nearby, family oriented activities include Pony Trekking, Trout Fishing, Mountain biking in Hamsterley forest or just good old walking in the Durham Dales. Within easy reach of many leading attractions like Hamsterley Forest, Weardale Railway, Raby Castle, High Force Waterfall, Bowes Museum, Durham Cathedral and Castle, Beamish Museum and Hadrians Wall, Greenwell is the ideal place to stay.
