To describe Hardwick House as a "Big Cottage" is rather like describing Big Ben as a large carriage clock Hardwick House is an extensive and lovingly restored Victorian country house of grand proportions and delightful period features which can be your home to enjoy with family and friends. Set in five acres of parkland the grounds feature a heated outdoor pool in a private walled garden which is secluded and ideal for relaxing, picnics or barbeques. There is also a childrens play area with swings and a slide and a huge variety of mature trees and plants to explore, many of which were planted 150 years ago to supply the household when this was a working estate. You can sense the history of this place at every turn.
