Overlooking the Strathearn Valley, Blairmore Farm has one of the most picturesque and breathtaking south facing views in Scotland. Blairmore Wester Cottage nestles into the hill surrounded by stunning countryside in a peaceful and tranquil environment. The newly restored four bedroomed cottage has been elegantly refubished in a traditional Scottish manner. The fully centrally heated accommodation consists of four roomy bedrooms and three bathrooms two with showers and one with a bath. The bedrooms comprise two with zip and link beds, one with twin beds and one with a king size bed.
There is a very large and well equipped kitchen which includes a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, large range style cooker and leads into a light and airy open plan drawing/dining room with oak floor and a big open fire. A large tiled porch at the side of the cottage contains a washing machine and dryer and ample space for coats, wellies etc.
Five golf courses lie within easy reach including Gleneagles which is only 15 minutes away and St Andrews, Carnoustie and Murrayshall are all within an hours drive. Perthshire offers some of the best shooting, fishing and stalking and this can be arranged if required. Hillwalking and bird watching with ospreys and sea eagles is also very close by as is white water rafting, water skiing, rock climbing and parachuting. We even have plenty of accommodation and grazing if you wish to bring your own horses and a small polo ground. The riding out beyond compare with miles of forestry and open hill ground and nearby is Strathearn eventing with fabulous cross country and jump cross facilities.
Blair Castle, home of the Dukes of Atholl, Scone Palace near Perth where the ancient Kings of Scotland were crowned, Drummond Castle with it's beautiful gardens and Stirling Castle , William Wallace Monument, and Edinburgh is only one hour's drive away.
Perth has its own theatre and concert hall and nearby is Pitlochry Festival Theatre and of course in the summer - the Edinburgh International Festivals and Tattoo.
