Penblaith Barn and Trevase Granary are traditional stone barn conversions that combine 18th century character with 21st century luxury and style. Both set in South Herefordshire and within five miles of each other, Penblaith is four miles north of Monmouth and Trevase Granary is five miles north west of Ross on Wye. The two properties boast stunning views and are perfectly situated, in a quiet, tranquil location, yet easily accessible by car from the motorway network.

Both properties are situated close to Symonds Yat, Forest of Dean and Offa's Dyke. They are especially well placed for some of the country's finest racecourses; Cheltenham is only a 45 minute drive but we also have Hereford, Ludlow, Chepstow, Warwick and Worcester all within one hours drive.

Whatever the requirements - extended family holiday, reunions, group holidays or a corporate event we have the ideal venues, and you can be assured that we will do everything we can to make it a truly perfect stay in either of our luxury self catering barns.

TREVASE GRANARY is sited on a working farm, allows guests to enjoy stunning views in luxurious surroundings with their party of up to 16 adults. An impressive dining room with large table can seat up to 20 under exposed oak timbers and wrought iron chandeliers. A large lounge complete with leather sofas can seat all guests although there is also a separate television/games room, complete with Freeview, D.V.Dâs and play station. A stunning handmade fully equipped kitchen is adjacent to the dining room with everything needed to cater for all.

The Granary has eight double rooms, five of which are ground floor bedrooms but all are all en-suite. The largest twin bedded room has a super wet room for those guests less able, which can be equipped with various aids. There is also a stair lift on the oak stairs leading up to the first floor. Trevase Granary also boasts a walled garden for the use of guests. Within it is a large games room complete with table tennis, pool table and a Jacuzzi for 6 adults with wonderful views toward the Black Mountains. The games room has a paved patio area for barbeques overlooking the lawn.

On the farm is a five acre coarse fishing lake stocked with carp, tench, roach and bream which guests can fish. Adjoining the Granary is a utilities block with a laundry room complete with washing machine and drier, and a lockable bin room which is large enough to store bikes and fishing rods.

PENBLAITH BARN has been restored, paying particular attention to detail using the finest craftsmanship, and includes large stone fireplaces, a sweeping oak staircase and oak floors. The barn retains the character and style of its traditional form, but with the comforts of modern living. Most of the barn has underfloor heating beneath rustic flagstones on the ground level or oak flooring elsewhere. Penblaith is complete with a tailored kitchen, a range cooker and the gadgets needed to cater for all. There is a gas wood burner in the large fireplace.The generous 30 foot dining room with a large oak table and chairs which comfortably seats 20, perfect for that special meal. There are two lounges, one ideal for the adults to relax and reminisce, and the other with a television, DVD player, and a games console to keep the most restless entertained.

Penblaith has eight en-suite bedrooms sleeping 16 guests, one of which is on the ground floor ideal for those less able. It also includes a delightful family suite allowing for two additional children. From most rooms the stunning scenery can be appreciated looking over open farmland towards the Cotswolds.

The extensive views can also be taken in from the large raised patio area overlooking the garden. It stretches the full length of the barn and has gas BBQ, outdoor tables and chairs and jacuzzi. In the games room there are pool and ping pong tables but in the generous gardens there is an additional flat grassed area ideal for many sports.
