Hallwood Farmhouse is ideal for a gathering of family or friends. This beautifully situated cosy farmhouse, just a short walk from the friendly village pub, offers bags of room for a group of 10 or even a few more. There are 4 bedrooms (2 double, 1 twin and 1 family with a double and 2 full sized singles) there are 2 cots and stored under the single beds are 2 mattresses so, if necessary you could squeeze an extra few children dormitory style in one of the bedrooms 3 bathrooms should avoid any risk of queues

We have a 4 star (VisitBritain) rating which means we are very well equipped and furnished to a high standard - our guests all seem to be very pleasantly surprised when they arrive There is full central heating but, there are 2 woodburning stoves to add atmosphere too. The dining room comfortably seats 12 and the kitchen is well equipped to deal with big family feasts.

If you want a break from the cooking there is a lovely pub in the pretty thatched village of Petrockstowe serving good home cooked food, which is only an 8 minute walk away(less if youââ¬â¢re really desperate)

This area is stunningly beautiful with wonderful walking and cycling on the doorstep. We have good quality bikes to hire here on the farm and the off road ââ¬ËTarka Trailââ¬â¢ lies just on the edge of the village.

The coast is just a 25 minute drive away with a choice of Bude and the North Cornwall coast and Instow, Bideford and Westward Ho all just that short scenic drive away. Some of the best surfing in the UK is to be found at Westward Ho or just a little further at Croyde and Woolacombe.

We are centrally located here with the heaps of attractions and areas of outstanding beauty within an hours drive or much less. Exmoor, Dartmoor, The Eden Project, Exeter and the South Coast to name just a few are all visited regularly by our guests.

Hallwood Farm is a family run traditional mixed working farm where our guests are always welcome, we love to include children (and adults) in helping with the feeding up or anything else that's going on if they want. We are members of DEFRA's Countryside Stewardship Scheme and strive to protect and enhance the environment on our beautiful farm. We love our guests to enjoy the farm and they are free to roam throughout our 90 acres here at Hallwood.
