WAUNIFOR HOLIDAY COTTAGES

For a large family gathering or reunion or for a group of friends, the Longhouse provides the perfect ecology. It is a spacious traditional listed cottage, originally a welsh longhouse, complete with oak beams, a superb inglenook fireplace with woodburner and oozes ambience and character. There is accommodation for up to 10 people, with plenty of room for everyone in the five bedrooms (three twin rooms, one single and one very large triple room) as well as two bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs). Cots and high chairs available on request. The large lounge is very cosy with comfortable sofa and chairs as well as a huge dining table for everyone to sit around and enjoy mealtimes with the warmth of the woodburner adding to the ambience..

The Longhouse is surrounded by a pretty enclosed courtyard garden with picnic tables and at the back looks out on to the walled garden. It is is hugely popular for family holidays and Christmas breaks and can be booked for short breaks during off-peak season with many families returning year after year.

Coachhouse Mews was originally the accommodation for the Coachmen of the historic Waunifor estate, sited above the original stables. It is an elegant and spacious Mews style cottage all on one floor and is reached by a short flight of stairs. There are three twin bedrooms and two singles providing elegant and comfortable accommodation for 8 people. The cosy lounge has lots of sofas and armchairs clustered around the open log fire, ideal for playing games, watching TV, reading or just relaxing in the evenings. There is a large kitchen/dining room and a bathroom at each end of the cottage. In addition to the two larger cottages we have Carriage Mews and Stable cottage (sleeping 6 in each), Robin (sleeping 4) and Duckpond (sleeping 2) so can accommodation up to 36 people in total.

Uniquely we have a pottery studio on-site so your group can experience the thrill of a workshop 'throwing on the wheel'. Also Craft workshops in mosaics, felt making, glass painting, bead and jewellery making and card making are also available and fused glass workshops can be booked at a nearby studio.

Waunifor is set in 5 acres of beautiful gardens and grounds amidst very peaceful and delightful rural scenery within 30 minutes of the coast and with plenty of local attractions and lovely walks nearby.
