Shepherds Patch Cottage in Thurlestone, Devon.
A large, detached thatched cottage with a secluded garden. Having been recently been re-furbished now benefits from light, spacious rooms all of which benefit from a range of traditional furniture.
The beautiful sandy beach and the Thurlestone Golf Course are only about ½ a mile away. This is a real country style cottage with great character. The thatched porch over the stable style front door gives access to a large hallway off which one can find the lounge, kitchen, dining room and cloakroom with w.c. In addition, the wooden stairs lead to the first floor landing where there are three double bedrooms.
The master bedroom has a four-poster bed with an en-suite bathroom boasting a Jacuzzi bath, both with views over the front garden.
The other two bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms with W.C, also with garden views.
The second floor incorporates two twin bedded rooms and a bathroom.
The spacious kitchen is well equipped with modern facilities including an Island unit plus a range cooker, washer dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a microwave.
The large dining room may be accessed from the kitchen or the hallway opposite the lounge. There is an Oak dining table with seating for 10 and traditional furniture to match.
The beamed lounge with has a feature fire place with an electric fire, three leather sofas, TV, DVD and a range of antique furniture.
The conservatory can be access from the back and front garden and through double doors from the lounge. The enclosed garden has been well stocked with a variety of plants and shrubs. There is also a small lawned are with garden furniture for dining alfresco.
There is a private parking space to the side of the property with additional parking available near by.
Dogs are welcome at an extra £15 each, per week.
