West Banbury Farm Cottages are set in a beautiful rural location in West Devon, near the Cornish border. There are ten cottages set around two courtyards.
Wilhayes Barn is one of these cottages; a three bedroomed cottage which can accommodate up to 8 people, facing south towards Dartmoor.
The ground floor main living area with kitchen, dining and sitting area is open plan, with a wonderful galleried sitting area overlooking this, creating a large, open and airy space. Off the main room are two twin bedrooms with a bathroom and power shower over the bath.
Upstairs there is a master double bedroom with ensuite shower and toilet.
There is a sofa bed and a single bed in the galleried sitting area which can provide sleeping for a further two people.
Wilhayes Barn provides heated towel rails and electric night storage heaters, double glazing, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, radio/CD, TV, DVD, microwave, shared BBQ and garden furniture. A cot, highchair, bedguards and stairgates can be supplied for babies and young children.
Baby sitting services can be arranged for evenings and weekends, and if you wish your groceries can be delivered to your door by Asda or Tesco.
There are wonderful facilities on offer at the farm, including a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, games room, grass tennis court, nine hole fun pitch and putt, children's play area and a wildlife pond with ducks. For those who wishing to relax local beauty and pampering services are available to be enjoyed in the comfort of your cottage.
The barn is ideally located for exploring rural Devon and Cornwall, with the rugged North Cornish coast nearby. There are plenty of outdoor pursuits, such as fishing, riding, walking on Dartmoor and watersports at a nearby reservoir.
Within a short driving distance are National Trust properties, such as Castle Drogo, Lanhydrock and Buckland Abbey, charming market towns, pretty coastal villages, theme parks and much more.
