Trabboch Cottage.
Situated in a peaceful location and rural setting this detached Cottage offers a true 'get away from it all' break. Walking and cycling is available directly from the property.

There is easy access to the Ayrshire Coastal Path, 100 miles of coastline; Culzean Castle and Country Park, a favourite with visitors, is a 25-minute drive away.
South West Scotland has a wealth of golf courses with Turnberry, Troon, and Prestwick all within easy reach.
The Ayrshire coast and Burns country provide enjoyable days out. Drive to Ardrossan take the ferry to Arran and see Scotland in miniature.

Other Activities
The Burns an' a' That festival is held in May each year.
A day out at the Ayr Races (horse-racing) can be profitable - the Scottish Grand National and the Scottish Derby are held here.
As the area around Ayr is flat, it is conducive to gentle cycling.

Ayr is 33 miles from Glasgow and is easily accessed by road (M77/A77), rail or bus (mainly hourly).
Buses run south to Girvan, Stranraer and Dumfries, and north to Irvine, Largs and Greenock.
Ayr has an abundance of good restaurants, for example, Fouters Bistro (in a former bank vault), Caprice (French cuisine), Cecchini (for pizzas and pasta), the Rupee Room (Indian) and the Treehouse with lively DJ music at weekends.
