We have two lovely houses on the edge of this much sought-after hamlet just two miles from Keswick and Lake Derwentwater, in the heart of the Lake District, offering accommodation for parties from four to twelve. Orchard Barn sleeps 12 and Derwent Lea sleeps up to 8 people. Keswick is a major Lakeland centre offering all sorts of activities.

Meadow Bank is located in the village of Elterwater in the Langdale Valley not far from Ambleside. It is a luxury detached Lakeland house sleeping 10 people plus cot. Meadow Bank has been completely refurbished and has 4 Star rating with VisitBritain.

The property is set in lovely landscaped gardens with beautiful views towards the Langdale Beck and the fells. A barbecue and outdoor table and chairs are provided. There is parking for 2 cars.

Hazelwood is a spacious Victorian house with a sunny aspect and panoramic views from the top of the Eskdale valley to the coast. Recently refurbished, it offers bright and comfortable self-catering group accommodation for 10 people in one of the most tranquil valleys of the Lake District.

Hallflat Farm sleeps up to 8 people and is a lovely farmhouse with four large double en-suite bedrooms, a classic ‘living’ farm kitchen, separate ‘character’ dining room and a comfortable, light living room. This is a truly special place to base yourself in Wasdale, home of Britains favourite view. It has its own lawned area which is ideal for catching the afternoon sun, as well as access to the extensive grounds of Hallflat Farm including meadows and enchanting woodland walk beside the River Irt. Garden furniture and BBQs are available to make the most of this external space.

With beautiful views of Black Combe and the surrounding fells, Banksprings Brewery is nicely situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park and alongside the lovely coastal beaches of the West Coast of Cumbria.
