A short stroll takes you into the village for provisions, a spot of lunch or dinner, or maybe to try its famous gingerbread.  Then perhaps a walk around the lake, or try one of the many walks from Langdale’s garden; the ’coffin’ trail leading to Rydal, Alcock Tarn, Loughrigg or through Deerbolt woods into Elterwater.  On returning you may see a woodpecker, deer or red squirrels scurrying over the lawns as you sit on the terrace sipping a drink.  Alternatively, enjoy the peace and tranquillity from the comfortable open plan living areas.  Whilst inside the accommodation, every room has been presented with much care and attention t. . .
