Lovely garden. Only downside was the pans in the kitchen were all unsuitable for the hob (electric) and most had the black coating missing, mainly due to metal utensils being supplied instead of silicone I guess. We had to buy other pans as the black coating came off the pans on some. The key got stuck in the lock box but Sykes and the owner was very swift in assisting but managed to get sorted very quickly after the contact number provided for the maintenance person was invalid. All in all a very very nice house and beautifully decorated and the scents throughout were a lovely touch. Thank you for a lovely house

Plus we couldn’t understand why when we had to be out by 10am having basically cleaned up everything! The kettle we struggled to get the lid off - maybe invest in an easier one! And the heating was difficult to operate - and my late husband was a heating engineer!! There is also a stereo speaker but we couldn’t work that out either! I had asked also for all beds to be double but we still ended up with one being a twin room.

Beautiful place, well set out, perfect for 2 families with children. Beds comfortable bathrooms clean and modern- upstairs shower not especially powerful but suspect that’s more about local pressure than anything the owners can do- it met the need. Only additional things that would have been helpful were oven gloves (which maybe we just couldn’t find) and toilet roll on arrival (which was fine as we had brought some with with us). We found some of the issues others have raised not to be a problem at all- internet, tin opener, table stickiness etc- no issues at all and we had taken our own just in case! Overall a wonderful stay - beautiful place, location and everything you could need for some time away. We’ll hopefully be back
