We were blessed with good weather but the central heating and woodburner would make an autumn or winter stay comfortable. The cottage had everything we needed and Middleton is a charming village. It has good food options close by and a section of the Pennine Way is a few hundred metres from the door. A special mention to Faye; her attention to detail ran to the hand delivery of a Welcome Pack and the shower plug which she had taken away to ensure its cleanliness. I don’t recall ever staying in a cottage where the owner has done that before. The acid test to any stay is would you return? We definitely would.

Had absolutely everything you needed. My youngest loved playing out in the garden and myself and my husband enjoyed having a pot of tea outside the front taking in the views. Evenings were spent by the log burning fire in the cosy living room after a bubble bath in the beautiful bathroom. The village was perfect and had everything you needed-we loved Kaylees bakery. Perfect location for exploring- we loved low force, high force, gibsons cave and the woodland area with waterfall that was just around the corner from the cottage. We didn’t want to leave- highly recommend to anyone and would definitely book again in the future. Thank you Faye for the perfect stay.

Immaculately clean. Great response from the owner, very helpful. Everything we could need from a holiday home.
