The location, the cottage and Margaret are extremely lovely And Margaret is so welcoming and kind however it should be made clear that dogs are not allowed all throughout the property prior to placing a booking. It’s very difficult when you have a young dog who found it very hard being shut out. Appreciate people with allergies may also stay in the cottage however if you have allergies to dogs would you book a cottage on dog friendly cottages? I can’t fault Margaret or the cottage but we only stayed one night as our dog was so frantic and started to get very stressed. I would say more dog tolerant not dog friendly as dogs are social creatures and like to be with their owners at all times. Would suit much older less active dogs who don’t mind being shut in the kitchen.

The view out of the large living room windows is stunning, the bath is large and very relaxing. There are horses, sheep and chickens you can see on the farm. There are puzzles and kids games available. We had a lovely stay here

It was lovely to be able to meet and talk with Margaret and family. Lovely setting and ambiance. We had a nice relaxing weekend break with excellent weather.
