Tiarks has everything families need for a fantastic self-catering holiday in Somerset. It's on Webbington Farm, a family-run beef farm in the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (aonb). Sleeping up to seven people in two bedrooms, Tiarks is ideal for family holidays and has a hot tub for guest use. It's one of four superb holiday cottages on-site which can be booked together to accommodate extended families and groups of up to 30 friends who want to share a holiday but not their personal space.

Webbington Farm could not be better located for a holiday in Somerset, especially for those who love spectacular views. There is a long network of footpaths and cycling routes to make exploring the Mendips a pleasure, including those through nearby Crooks Peak, a Site of Special Scientific Interest that's on the doorstep of the farm. Cheddar Gorge is around six miles by road or eight if you'd rather cycle. Cheddar Gorge has panoramic views and its own herd of feral goats used by the National Trust to manage the landscape. Other places for a walk or a bike ride include Tor Hill Woods above Wells, Crook Peak, and Shute Shelve Hill.

Local Somerset attractions to visit are Glastonbury Tor and the ancient abbey ruins, Frome, Bruton, Clevedon Court and Wells Cathedral. Spend a day at the seaside at Brean Sands, which has a long Victorian pier and panoramic views from the clifftop footpath, or go to Burnham-on-Sea, Sand Point or Weston-super-Mare. The Fleet Air Arm Museum and Haynes Motor Museum are both in Yeovil, about an hour's drive from the cottage with collections to inspire and delight anyone who loves engines. Webbington Farm has easy access to the M5, so that it's also possible to go to Bristol (Bristol Airport is 15-minutes away), Bath, Stonehenge and Longleat shopping and sightseeing.

The onsite amenities are excellent and include not only a hot tub but a snooker room and an outdoor play area. If booking the cottage as part of a group - perhaps to celebrate a milestone birthday, family reunion, hen weekend, or corporate activity, there is also a private party room. Webbington Hotel and Spa is within strolling distance where you can book to use the indoor leisure facilities (including a pool, sauna, steam room and gym) and tennis courts. The owners can also help arrange extra activities such as clay pigeon shooting, wine tasting, and archery. Please see their website for more ideas and information to help you plan the perfect stay.
