You have everything you need at Dalton cottage for an enjoyable stay. Very comfy beds, plenty of room and a lovely big bath! We loved the pool table and had a few laughs with that! Disappointed that the pub mentioned was closed as this was one of the reasons we booked. It was very close to the cottage and was very good in its day but sadly closed. However, there are lovely places to eat in Kidwelly and further afield and we enjoyed going out and about to find nice places. We went for local walks with our dogs too and the scenery was stunning. We met the owner who was giving the front wall and also fixed the gate. He was very friendly and showed photos of how the cottage was before. They’ve done loads to it and it’s a credit to them. The house plants were a bit neglected and needed a good water but they sprang back to life! (apart from a very dead one in the bookcase.) wonderful place, recommend for a quiet get away.

It has enough room to ensure the kids had their own space and enough bathrooms to ensure there were no arguments! The kitchen was well stocked with all the cutlery, crockery and utensils that we needed to self cater. The kids loved the pool table and the unit containing games was an added bonus. We’d definitely stay here again.

Everything was there for us. We had the wood burner going every evening with our dog Tig laid in front of it. We had lots of beach dog walks and went to some lovely places to eat too. Our granddaughter lives in Pontyates so it was nice seeing her as well. We will be back.
